Control System Design
Design and validate gas turbine control systems with PID development, fuel scheduling, start and shutdown logic, limiters, sensor models, and FADEC-oriented control strategies.
SimTurbo gives engineers a practical environment to design, simulate, validate, and refine gas turbine control strategies. Explore real-time transient behavior, PID and FADEC logic, fuel scheduling, protection systems, and component-level models without treating the engine as a black box. Built for aerospace, marine, power-generation, research, and academic applications, the platform supports faster, better-informed control development.

Simulation and analysis tools for gas turbine controls, performance, architectures, and advanced propulsion concepts.
Design and validate gas turbine control systems with PID development, fuel scheduling, start and shutdown logic, limiters, sensor models, and FADEC-oriented control strategies.
Evaluate dynamic engine response through startup, shutdown, throttle changes, acceleration, load shifts, actuator behavior, sensor response, and fault-condition scenarios in real time.
Analyze thermodynamic cycles, component maps, fuel consumption, thrust or power output, pressure ratios, operating points, emissions, and off-design engine performance.
Configure complete gas turbine architectures using component-based graphical tools for conceptual design, compressor and turbine matching, combustor configuration, and performance optimization.
Model recuperated, regenerated, reheated, intercooled, and afterburning gas turbine configurations to investigate waste-heat recovery, efficiency improvements, and next-generation propulsion concepts.
Develop single-spool and dual-spool turbojet models for propulsion analysis, component matching, transient studies, control integration, thrust prediction, and fuel-efficiency evaluation.
SimTurbo helps engineering teams move from concept to informed control decisions through component-based gas turbine modeling and real-time simulation. Build control logic around the physics of the engine, then examine steady-state and transient response with interactive diagrams and graphs. The platform supports PID controllers, limiters, fuel scheduling, actuator and sensor models, data export, and virtual prototyping for more transparent validation work.

A specialized platform built to make gas turbine simulation more transparent, interactive, and useful.
Examine transient effects and throttle response interactively on standard PCs in real time.
Build with drag-and-drop components instead of relying on an opaque engine-model black box.
J85-GE-21 validation reports accuracy within plus or minus two percent against NASA test data.
University, classroom, laboratory, and student licensing options support practical engineering education and research.
Experienced leadership for complex gas turbine simulation challenges.
