PID Control Design
Develop and tune PID controllers for gas turbine fuel scheduling, acceleration, deceleration, engine protection, and closed-loop operation using configurable control components.
SimTurbo gives engineers an interactive environment for developing, tuning, and validating PID control strategies for gas turbine systems. Model fuel scheduling, actuator and sensor behavior, engine protections, and transient response in real time—without treating the engine as a black box. Built for aerospace, marine, power-generation, research, and university applications, it helps teams move from control concepts to evidence-based engineering decisions with greater precision.

Explore practical tools for gas turbine PID design, dynamic simulation, validation, and engineering analysis.
Develop and tune PID controllers for gas turbine fuel scheduling, acceleration, deceleration, engine protection, and closed-loop operation using configurable control components.
Simulate starts, shutdowns, throttle changes, load shifts, sensor response, and actuator dynamics to evaluate controller stability and transient performance before implementation.
Create and assess control algorithms with component-based engine models, gain scheduling, fault detection, and real-time simulation for virtual prototyping workflows.
SimTurbo helps control engineers connect PID tuning decisions to realistic gas turbine behavior. Build graphical, component-based models, configure controller gains and limits, then observe steady-state and transient responses on a standard PC. Interactive diagrams and graphs make it easier to examine throttle effects, actuator behavior, and system stability. Export simulation data for deeper post-processing in Excel, MATLAB/Simulink, or Python.

A specialized platform for clearer, faster gas turbine control-system analysis.
Observe transient behavior and throttle effects interactively on standard PCs during control-system development.
Configure engine components directly instead of relying on an inaccessible black-box model.

PID tuning software helps engineers set and evaluate proportional, integral, and derivative control actions for gas turbine operation. In SimTurbo, PID controllers can be used alongside fuel scheduling, actuator and sensor models, engine protection logic, and gain scheduling. This enables teams to study stability, tracking, acceleration, deceleration, and disturbance response before moving to higher-fidelity testing or implementation.
