Steady-State Analysis
Analyze Brayton-cycle behavior, component matching, thrust, power, fuel consumption, pressure ratios, and off-design performance for aircraft, industrial, and power-generation gas turbines.
SimTurbo gives engineers, researchers, and students a practical environment for modeling gas turbine system dynamics, from steady-state performance to real-time transient behavior. Build component-based engine architectures, evaluate operating conditions, validate control logic, and export results for further analysis. With interactive graphical tools and physics-informed modeling, teams can investigate complex propulsion and power-system behavior with greater speed, clarity, and confidence.

SimTurbo helps engineering teams move from concept to informed decisions with a graphical, component-based environment for gas turbine dynamics. Model steady-state and transient operation, examine interactive graphs and diagrams, tune control strategies, and evaluate design tradeoffs without treating the engine as a black box. Export simulation data to Excel, MATLAB/Simulink, or Python for deeper post-processing and collaborative analysis across propulsion, marine, power, and academic projects.

Purpose-built software and experienced guidance for demanding gas turbine engineering work.
Drag-and-drop component architecture lets engineers inspect system behavior instead of relying on black-box models.
Interactive simulations visualize transient operation, throttle effects, and control response on standard PCs.
Reported J85-GE-21 validation results are within plus or minus two percent of test data.
University pricing and classroom programs support practical gas turbine learning, labs, research, and capstones.

System dynamics modeling software represents how interconnected components behave over time rather than only at a single operating point. For gas turbines, it can model changes in shaft speed, temperatures, pressures, fuel flow, actuator motion, sensors, and controls during events such as startup, throttle movement, load changes, shutdown, or fault conditions. These models help teams study response, stability, and design tradeoffs.
